Question about Maths and Maths Physics

I'm hoping on changing courses and going to NUIG to study Maths and Maths Physics (through Arts). I was originally doing honours maths but dropped down to pass because of the work load.

I got a B1 in pass and was wondering was this enough to do maths physics and the honours course in Maths?

I got a B3 in another science subject (honours biology) if that helps or makes any difference.

    Thanks for any replies.

I'm sorry, but I really don't think it would be. I had friends who got B2-B1s at honours leaving cert level who found the honours maths course at NUIG to be quite difficult.

It's possible that it was just the workload that got to you and you have the ability etc. but you must realise that the workload at university is going to be even bigger and even harder to manage.

Maybe talk to someone directly involved in the course and see what they have to say.

Sorry if this isn't much use to you.

Hey Carsinian Thau, thanks for the reply. I just emailed a Dr. Aisling McCluskey at the Mathematics department. Thanks for the comment.
