We booked a flight from Belfast with Aer Lingus, but we didnt pay a cost for luggage (so i think all we can bring is hand luggage)
I think it cost a certain amount of money for a 20kg bag/case etc.

Does anyone know what aer lingus will allow us to bring when we didnt pay for luggage?
(ie. weight limit, what size(like a schoolbag or a big gear bag?) and any other info?)

as it doesent say on the printed tickets,
    thanks:D

The offical company line is as follows:

    Cabin/Carry-On Baggage Allowance

    bag_dimensions2a.gif
    • Baggage is restricted to one piece per passenger.
    • The maximum dimensions for a cabin bag are 56cms x 45cms x 25cms or 22in x 18in x 10in.
    • Baggage, labelled at check-in, must weigh under 6kgs/13lbs and be small enough to fit in overhead bins or under your seat.
    • Additional small items (cameras, personal stereos, overcoats, handbags) are allowed.
    • EU security rules regarding liquids, gels and aerosols in cabin baggage apply. Details of these rules can be found here: Prohibited Items.
    • Flights departing the USA are subject to TSA security rules. Details of these rules can be found by clicking here: tsa.gov.
    • Passengers in Row 1, or at an emergency exit, MUST store baggage in an overhead bin.
Whether the checkin staff stick you to the 6kg limit is a gamble and from
experience you're more likely to have difficulty where AL have outsourced
    check-in.
