Flying with sinus infection

Move if not in right forum... (health?)
I am due to fly out to France on Sat, much anticipated hols (am 6 mths pregnant!)... however I have a severe sinus infection, was at the doc and its gone into one of my ears, there's not a lot he can do, it'll either still be blocked come Sat or not, and if I fly with it still blocked there is a risk I could burst an ear drum. Has anyone a lot of experience flying (airline workers etc) and should I take the risk? What are the chances of it happening? Any advise appreciated.

We can't, and will not, provide medical advice here. Listen to your doctor, he's the professional.
