if anything the hair is meant to help you sweat... thus cooling you down... in such weather...

on a side note, no i won't be shaving the ole chest...

im too big to be a ladyboy.
its ok for men to be clean shaven tho. in the past a real man had to have some kind of facial hair.beards, porkchops, handlebars etc.

    NO
I'd bet the autumnal "growback" would be a nightmare. You'd be scratching yourself like a fool and getting plenty funny looks !
Or else you'd have to shave it forever like a backwards Elton John - uugh !

Bleach it so that the hair will reflect the sun away from you and will keep you feeling cool.

The back gets done, I've even waxed it before. (Feck my boots that really hurts:eek:)

Chest, belly, sack, crack etc stay just as god intended.

My OH has recently taken to defuzzing his chest, much to my annoyance. I loved playing with the little spattering decorating his pecs but now I've to suffer stubble. :(

On a side note, I hate full on chest rugs. Wax them.

I was in the garden when my topless housemate arrived out to enjoy the sun. He informed me that the hair was there to stop him burning. He has an impressive beer gut, it has to be said.

Who are we to argue with such wisdom. For that is what it is. Wisdom.

Summer? Warm weather? - what are you talking about

Errr no. Shaving anywhere other than facial area (and occasional trimming of pubic area) is for the wimmins.

I looked out my en-suite window the other day and the guy living next to us was lying on a deckchair PLUCKING his chest hair, now i find shaving it fruity enough but plucking it is going a bit too far.

That photo needs a warning. It's like chewbacca's kid sister or something. Ick.

If we lost our precious chest hair then how would Japanese girls know to adore us ? Hey, if it worked for James Bond who am I to question its validity!

I am sooo hairy it would take me ages to get my hair off. I wouldn't shave it anyway as I think it is just a fashion thingy to not have hair.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 148 ✭✭g-whizz

    question for some women too.
didn't read whole thread. sorry if i 'stole' this

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,009 ✭✭✭KarmaGarda

I'd have to start shaving in winter to have it clean by summer. There's too many pints to be drank and bacon to be eatin to be arsed with that.
