I wish my parents knew...

    Can you name one thing that you wish your parents knew about you, but you can't bring yourself to tell them?

    For me its how much my job is making such a difference to people.
    I can't explain to them just how much of a difference I'm actually making.
    (I deal with people, working interactively with them)

    I wish I could tell them that sometimes they get TOO interfering in the lives of my wife and I.
    (We've both tried!)

    Yes, you can make sure they don't use Galway water, because that would be inhumane. Besides, we wouldn't want them to die of poisoning during interrogation, or we'd get nothing out of them.

    That's a very good one. It so applied to me too when I was younger.
    They weren't able to tell the difference between helping me in a possible right direction and actually ramming down my throat their aspirations!

    ..... that the world is full of lots of different people and it's OK to not all be the same. Having your own opinion doesn't make you wrong.

    I wish my Parents knew;
    a) That I don't like when My Dad uses my Boards Account.
    b) That I don't think I should have to spend my Life minding their daughter just because they work.
    c) That I don't like how I am relied on for everything.
    d) That I would have stayed in College had I not been living at home and b and c not been true.

    that I have a very very long and uinforgiving memory

    that my job is not something to joke about and suggestions to push legal documents in front older relatives to sign over their land is not a joking matter.
