    Hi Everyone,

Does anybody know a link to an arcticle which explains property tax government wants to introduce? I mean is it gonna be backdated and what happens with stamp duty? What if i bought a property and paid stamp duty this year? Need some explanations... Thanks !

There's no official word on property tax yet - it's only a "might" (read: will). The last I read, in the Sunday Times awhile back, is that there's a range of possibilities they're looking at from a flat rate for everyone for example (easiest) to one based on the value of the home (much more difficult with current price drops as well as a large increase in administrative overheads). We certainly won't know for a while longer.
