I'd def be interested, but try not have it between 12th Sept - 22nd Oct as I have my wedding and honeymoon :D
Have to say I really enjoyed last time and have been looking forward to the next meet...I got some colours gels this time and a new Tripod (for those that remember the tripod I had lasttime) .

Sometime in August by any chance?
Obviously we can't have it the bank holiday weekend as CastlePalooza is on

I would provisionally be interested depending on various factors of course.

I've never been to Charleville nor have I ever been on a Boards meet so I'll keep an eye on this thread. :)

Both but the weekend away is what makes it.

Based on last year, we meet on Saturday morning, do some shooting, get lunch, so some shooting. Get dinner, do some shooting & drinking. Try to get to sleep over the snoring at some stage in the morning. Get up on Sunday get breakie, do some shooting and head off about lunch time absolutly knackered from lack of sleep due to the snorers :D, and develop your shots for the rest of the afternoon. Post them in the evening.

    Great weekend:D

You get a blowup mattress and some floor space, after that bring your own sleeping bag and pillow :)

    I'm not kidding :)

Don't think I went to bed till 2am last time, too busy taking shots of the horse...

In your defence, yes, most of it was Trish.

Seb, any chance of sending the snorers off to a different room so the rest of us can get a bit of rest? :D

I'm definitely interested as long as Vlastik brings his recipe book again :)

    plus 1!

If we could go earlier like start of august, we'd have much more daylight and also higher possibility of barbeque...

Well we won't have that problem if it's earlier, possibly August like some are suggesting 'cause you'll all be able to pitch tents and sleep in them. I hope the cats get ye. :P

yes Vlastik cooking thumbs up... I won't have the cheese this time. as it gave me early morning hillucinations I'll say no more

Admit it, you thought you were a cat and it was you making all that racket at about 5am...it wasn't the cats at all

yeah, but that wouldn't explain the noise from 1am to 10am. Now to calculate just how much chloroform you need to get into a person so they wont notice they've been rolled down a flight of stairs and pulled into the courtyard in their sleep.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,657 ✭✭✭trishw78

well I didn't go to sleep untill 2ish and I was one of the first up the following morning. so it wasn't me HA

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,259 ✭✭✭Shiny

I hope to go again this year!

The snoring didn't bother me as much as the huge window which
SLAMMED shut in the middle of the night!

Jolted awake and frightened the **** out of me!
(I must have had a mild heart attack, meanwhile Vlastik is sound asleep beside me!)

It most certainly and assuredly was. At least half a dozen people that witnessed Trish "The Turbine" in action would attest to it. :P
