Salou - Barcelona - How to? (Renfe, Bus, ...)

I am hitting Salou (well more like Cap Salou) towards the end of the month. I am doing it myself (not through Budget Travel or similar tour operator). Just want to know because I can't seem to find any solid information regarding how I can travel between the Salou area and Barcelona. I heard that you can travel cheaply using their Renfe system which I used before down the south of Spain and if I recall it was very efficient. I can't seem to find where the the Renfe Station is in Salou or Cap Salou.

Does anyone have any experience of travelling this route....costs, travel duration, frequency of trains, etc.

    Cheers ;)

the train leaves from the train station across the road from port adventura theme park and costs about 6euro one way taking approx 1hr 15 mins to get to barcelona. there is also a train station in salou town but i didn't use that one. time tables for the journey change frequently but it was about every hour or so when i was there

Trains are quite frequesnt during high season - you can also bus it plenty of private companies do coach tours there (you will see the reps everywhere handing out fliers) - train is your best bet in my opinion but the last train back is very early so be careful - when I went to the Nou camp last time we had to to hire a driver/car to get back to Salou as there was no other way.
