Drink before you go out. I don't head into town until about midnight anymore.. Too expensive. Bring a sneaky naggin of vodka in with you.

Capital on Georges St if you're a cocktail drinker...

    €5 every night for cocktails

(Mondays used to be 2 for 1 plus free finger food platters) not sure if thats still the case though)

That's all well and good, but what about those of us who drink beer?

Yeah but I still enjoy the ol' pint in a bar or a club. I dont know what to do with myself sometimes if i dont have a drink in my hand. Dont really drink vodka anymore because of the bad hangovers.

Capitol- Free in and 5 drinks before midnight(they had a promo @ the wknd for all night).
Karma-Free in and 3 for drinks/5 for cocktails.
Macgowans- 7 in and 3.50 for drinks-THURS only.
Fibbers-7 in(i can't remember) and 3 for drinks all night-biggest kip ever though.
At the end of the day it depends on what kinda gathering you want.

A lot of places in town are checking handbags and pockets for booze.. Diceys and Crystle do anyway.. I'd say it won't be long before most places are.. They'll be losing a lot of money to 'under the table drinkers'..

Sew a pocket into the front of your underwear and conceal ur alcohol there. Nobody is gonna frisk that part of u...and if they do just smile if they feel your concealment :p Might be strange for a girl tho :pac:
