Is it outlook 2003 you are using?
Check with your IT staff if you are set up with Outlook Web access?
If this is the case , you can access your mails through a web browser.

it 2007, we dont have IT support we are only a small firm

I use Outlook 2007 and I redirect all of my email accounts to my gmail - also keeping a copy on the server so that it's available on a particular work PC. Works as a great back-up and filters out the spam too.
