Sore arm (gotodoctor!)

    Hi boardsies...

So, I fell and hurt my arm about a month and a half ago, playing paintball. At first I thought I'd pulled a muscle or something, but the pain has persisted in the form of a sharp stabbing pain (upper arm) when I catch my arm in certain ways, though I still have pretty much all the strength of it.

    so... what's wrong?

... I'm joking. I mean: where should I go to get this looked at? I had myself half convinced it was a hairline fracture, though apparently a humeral hairline fracture from something like this isn't altogether likely, so it's most likely I've f*cked up a muscle... If I go to my GP I'll need to get sent somewhere for a scan, or someone who knows more about arms.

Thing is, I'm very short on time at the minute, as I leave for Australia in 2 weeks, and am working 2 jobs in the meantime (with just the occasional arm-twinge, as I let my right arm pick up the slack) and I'm kinda wondering if there's somewhere I could go for arm inspection, and possibility of relevant scans, in an expedient fashion. I'm not exactly eager to pay lots of money, but time is kinda worth more to me at the minute, so if it'll cost a couple hundred to go to the right place and get things done quickly, that'd be fine...

Thanks for any help people can offer!

Moved from PI as op wants advice on who to see beside their gp who they feel has not been helpful.
