Hi

I am looking to meet with likeminded musicians to start some manner of project. This could be a band in the traditional sense - drums bass guitars etc - or a collection of people who just want to make music.

I can sing (but dont have to) play guitar well and can play a little bass and keys

I have been writing music for a long time and at present I am trying to complete a straight ahead rock album and a folky, alt country album, in my project studio at home but I miss playing with other musicians.

I am not going to post examples of my work because I want to start something new (and my other stuff is unfinished) but I am pretty open minded about what this could be.

Ideally I am looking for people, male or female, over 25 who are available to jam once or twice a week and would be interested in gigging if all goes well but there will be no talk of giving up day jobs or anything like that.

I am based in Celbridge but travel for work around Meath, Cavan, Monaghan and Dublin is nearby so location is a little flexible. In terms of influences I have a broad but specific taste but would love to write stuff like Grizzly Bear, Midlake, The Cardinals, Elbow, Mute Math, Therapy?, Pearl Jam, Mastadon, Dinosaur Jr.... so pretty varied like I said.

Anyway this is a bit of a ramble but hopfully will appeal to some people and if thats you then get in touch!
