Neck injury?

I've never had any trouble with my neck but recently it has starting popping whenever I rotate my head from right to left, then (quite violently) clicking when I go back from left to right. Other people in the room can clearly hear when It clicks! It happens every time I turn my neck far enough, not just occasionally.

Not really sure how it started but I have joined a gym recently so maybe I strained something..

I've had it for a month and don't really know where to go with it.. chiropractor, physio, GP, A&E..

Anyone have a clue what's wrong with my neck or who would be best to see about it?

See a medical professional about this - a physio or a GP would be a start. Hope it improves soon :)
