fixing my 00 skoda fabia? The thermostat and head gasket went in it. Would i just be better off buying a new car instead of trying to fix it for about 800euro. Would anyone take the skoda off me - obv i will tell them whats wrong with it - does anyone buy cars to do up anymore?

800 to fix the car if it includes parts/block resurfacing/labour is pretty reasonable.
Unless you have cash/loan to buy a new one, I'd say go for it.
