On this thread you can both vote for one of the above, and make a nomination for the subsequent Album of the Week.

    - Only ONE nomination per user, per week shall be accepted.
    - If a particular album goes to the vote, then it shall not be accepted as a nomination for a subsequent three months.
    - Users may use the thanks feature to generate further interest for any album being nominated. This does NOT count towards that user's nomination for that week. Put simply, you can "thank" as many nominations as you like.
    - If there is a tie-break with any of the nominations, then the album that was nominated first shall be put to the vote.

Ugh, the Hives. Can't stand 'em.

Voted for Datarock, because I love their sense of humour and I didn't notice Tom Waits was up there til it was too late!

Argh Seamonsters is much better. Anyway voted for Spiritualized. Just couldn't go for Screamadelica - bad memories when Loaded used to come on at the Panic disco. Here we go with the marathon wander on the dance floor.

I'll go for a band that have been forgotten but never should have been. Nominate PWEI (pop will east itself) - Cure for Sanity.

Doesn't stand a chance but what the hey.

Aw man, Mezzanine vs. Screamadelica in the same poll. That's like Sophie's Choice. :(
    I eventually went for Screamadelica.

Nominating: 'Life's Too Good' by The Sugarcubes.

+1 for Will Oldham. 'I See A Darkness' is one of the best albums ever, ever recorded.
