bit of a silly logic question

    im pretty sure that there is a simple solution to this one but anyway here goes.

    im trying to automate a parameter on a synth(lfo amount)so once its in the middle(0) it plays normall with nothing effecting the original signal.so i want to automate a slope (0% to 100%) problem is when i click the line it instantly jumps to 0.8.

    now seeing as how i dont want it affected until this section it throws everything off before thats section(if that makes sense)
    basically im wondering if there is a way to input the amount into the automation line

    pic of what im talking about,ned it to be 0 but it wont move to zero using the trackpad

    got it sorted


    had to engage latch on the channel and then clicked the knob that controls the amount twice to get 2 points at 0.
    hardly ideal but it worked.

    anyone offer a better solution to this
