Susan Boyle was runner-up in the talent show on Saturday night
Britain's Got Talent's star Susan Boyle has been admitted to a private London clinic, it is being reported.
The Sun said the Scottish singer has been admitted to the Priory clinic with exhaustion a day after she was runner-up in ITV1 talent show final.

Poor woman's burnt out already, some people are just not able for stardom no matter how talanted they are.

I didn't watch any of that show, just saw pics of her in the media. She even looks crackers.

2) Crazy cat woman, starved for human interaction proves to world that 'crazy cat woman-type people' can sing. ex: see Paul Potts

3) Crazy cat woman, starved for human interaction becomes internet superstar in viral video worldwide

4) Crazy cat woman, starved for human interaction gets just what she was looking for ...human interation, fame, and everything that comes wth it.

5) Crazy cat woman, starved for human interaction realises that human interaction is highly over rated. (her cats explain this to her telepathically while staying in hotel)

She did seem very weird during the final.

Very subdued answers after her performance but then she seemed to go a bit mad after the final result was announced by lifting up her dress and flashing her legs.

Definitely something not quite right there.

Its terrible really. This is a women who in my eyes has been exploited by BGT producers. She was a ratings pull, all they cared about was the show and didn't give a d@mn about her.

They created loads of hype, used her and then spit her back out again. That would send anyone bonkers!

I actually feel sorry for her - the media put so much pressure on her it's no surprise that she went a bit wierd

I thought she was handling the final result very well yesterday, complementing Diversity as the best act etc - that was until she flashed her leg :rolleyes:

This woman was out touring the States and appearing on television shows across North America.

She embraced her fame, but had no idea that she would be ill equipped to handle it.

People don't try out for these shows to fulfill a dream of being unknown.

I feel sorry for the poor woman tbh. It's not her fault that she was used as a Cash Cow(ell) by the show.

She was a bit crazy to begin with so they shouldn't have exploted her in such a way

The people to blame are not her critics, it's the press and those ridiculous fans who perpetutuated the myth that this woman was some Angel sent from Heaven to show everything that was wrong with the World today. They set this simple woman up on to a pedestal that she could never get down from unless she fell hard and harmed herself, which sadly appears to have happened. Celebs Oprah Winfrey & Demi Moore, with their endorsement and hysteria after seeing/hearing a very cleverly manipulated performance of ONE song must take some of the blame too, because their fame whipped things up even further and out of control.

People with their ' Dear Susan, meek and wonderful angel from Heaven' needed to get a reality check but sadly there's millions of gullible people like that, particularly in the US.

It raises all sports of questions about what we consider makes a person happy and fullfilled. And with Susan, it's probably not fame at all. she rightly wants is to sing and have appreciation & recognition for having a good singing voice but I seriously doubt she could cope with global stardom. If BMG/Sony milk her for her 5 minutes of fame they could ruin her life forever..and providing her with a bevy of psychologists on the way shouldn't be enough to satisfy their consciences either.

Fair play to her, sure you're not a real celebrity till you've done a stint at the Priory or the Betty Ford. Its like a initiation ceremony for the celebrity world. And it sells magazines.

Um...and the purpose of these shows is supposed to be something loftier. Entertainment IS exploitation, she's nobody special, she got the same as many before and many to come.
