I am going to install an outside tap in the next few days and have not done this before .
Does anyone have any advice ?
Is this a tricky job and are there any pitfalls i should be aware of?

Homebase and B&Q sell outside tap kits that are intended for the DIY market. I haven't tried them since any time I have installed an outside tap I have plumbed it with copper pipe and capillary fittings, so the DIY ones look too easy:)
