    Without giving details, If a guy said to a female friend that too much had happened between you two for you to continue having the friendship you once had, how would you interpret that? What if he also said that youve nothing to thank him for and also that he thinks its too soon for any kind of contact at all? What could he mean by all this?

    Hi OP,
    It's hard to read the situation with such scanty details.
    Was the female involved with the male? What would he mean by "too much had happened"? It sounds like the male and female in question have had a rough ride and he needs breathing space. any chance of more info?
