Inner lip blistering...

    Hi,
I bit my inner lip about 5 weeks ago while chewing - REALLY hard. It bled a little and swelled. Got antibiotic and the swelling or 'pus' went down but I am now left with a blister-type thing that I just CANNOT shift. Been back to a doctor who was kind of mystified but gave me a prescription for a paste (Adcortyl in Orabase) and a letter for an oral surgeon:eek:.

At this stage I think what remains of the problem may be largely down to friction and the fact that's it's almost impossible to stop it rubbing against front teeth. I've been living on a liquid-type diet for the last week and it's really effecting my work and social life but little sign of improvement I think.

I tried all the over-the-counter/home cures - salt in water, bonjella etc.

    Any suggestions welcome...
