So with the good weather here to stay for the next 3 months ( :D ) Where are your wishlists for places to visit and shoot this summer that you haven;t been to yet for one reason or another.

Have you set yourself any goals/objectives/get of your a55 lists for the summer ?
Also for those of you more experianced and traveld, you can share your tips and tricks for going to these places.

Personally i want to head to the Saltees (especially after seeing some of the recent shots) and The Giants Causeway, but probably not on the same day:-)

    Anyone else ?

Good weather, ha, I'm looking out at GREY CLOUDS for the last 2 days ! I believe there was SUN in some parts of the country ! bugger....

My ambition would be to travel around Ireland (especially the North) again, like I did a few years ago (but I didn't have a DSLR back then, not even a digital P&S). But...... unfortunatley it won't happen, too many other distractions, economic recession/depression/supression for one !

One definite possibility would be West Kerry !

West Kerry has to be pretty special if the pics i've seen are anything to go by, the four cornors in one weekend ??
West Kerry, Saltees, Giants causeway and Donegal. mmm, maybe hire a helicopter for the weekend i think, i just need 6 magic numbers !

You could do the 4 corners in one day: there's a motorway now from Ovens, Co. Cork to Belfast ! (with only a slight break (& a few tolls) in between) :p

i'll wait until i get that chopper, i hate having to pay tolls :-)

I'll settle for The Saltees and Fota wildlife park next week, hopefully get to fota early, as i presume like Dublin zoo, the animals are a bit more active in the mornings.

I was trying to think of somewhere interesting in the midlands, mount leinster is a good spot, the lakes on the Shannon are a pretty good spot, start out from Athlone and head north. Kilkenny is always great too.

heading to erzurum in turkey on sunday, meant to be like outer mongolia, going visiting farms as part of my elective for college so i am looking forward to that! I picked up some velvia today, haven't used it before so I am excited about going somewhere new and trying some new film...mind you I'm bringing some negative film too just in case I don't expose the velvia properly! I have been reading up about shooting it and am confused as hell, so any tips are welcome, pm me!!! :pac:

then I am going to the Bonnaroo festival, can't wait for that, trying out some provia in my diana + and I've to find somewhere out in Tennessee that'll process it in c41 for me! That's another first (both for the film and the location) so I am excited for that too!

Hoping also to go back to New Orleans...will defo be bringing my camera this year!

want to try get some gig shots done if possible and just general stuff during the arts festivals that'll be going on.
also want to get down to glendalough and maybe a few other places.
my aim is basically to try and improve as much as possible over the next three months and to get back into using my camera as much as I had been untill the last few months.
