I woke this morning after a night on the beer and had convinced myself it was Saturday. I thought nice one a lie in. But then the creeping though entered my head. Is it Saturday?? Damn it!!

Cue me rushing around like an eejit to get ready for work, had to ring a taxi to get me here (normally walk) and I was still late. Balls!

Seems to be a weekly occurance on one day or another.

I assume this happens to other boardsies and not just me??

happened to myself a couple of weeks ago... only problem is i was sober...

Had convinced myself it was Saturday... on a Friday morning... there i was in bed.... with the alarm going... and i was thinking to myself.. why would i the alarm on, on a Saturday... 30 mins later i started to wake up :P

Flat mate got a chuckle out of it and the gang in work took a right shine to it.

    haha

Woke up this morning to my alarm clock. Realised that I hadn't turned it off since I'm not in work 'til Tuesday, and went back for a bit of a snooze.

Bad thing is that I'm awake now though, but better than being in work.

And now instead of catching up you are wasting company time on boards. For shame.

Used to happen usually after a thursday night on the piss, end up on someone's couch only to wake up late and have to go to work reeking of beer. Actually had to stop going out on thursdays.

Same thing happened me this morning (although I wasn't out last night). Woke up to the alarm going off thinking "Ah lovely, I accidentally set it even though it's Saturday morning"...turned over all pleased with myself but woke up about 10 minutes later to everyone moving around and then realised it was only Friday :( Ah well, 3 lie-ins ahead of me so I don't really mind :D

I keep thinking it's Saturday too (but then I have Friday off :D)

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Nice generalisation there. Seeing as you know exactly what I do at work.

I try and achieve the opposite effect. Set the alarm for 6.50am on a Saturday, expecting to wake up and panic for a brief moment, before getting 7 hours more sleep.

What actually happens is, at about 6.57am, I'm awoken from my alcohol induced coma by a very pissed off housemate telling me to turn my alarm off. I repeat it the following week, under the impression that I will actually wake up this time.

I'm on the dole. I think everyday is Saturday, except Thursday.

I've never done the Saturday mixup but have been walking around a whole Thursday thinking it was Wednesday and similar.

Yeah, Friday & Monday mornings used to be a nightmare for me.
Try explaining to a drunk person that it is 6.30am & they have to get up to go to work even though it's not Saturday.
More than once I went to work drunk & disorientated.
It was always worth it though :D

I tend to forget what day it is during the week. Some days I've walked into work thinking it was a Thursday only to realise it was a Friday (tis usually sweet)

I have nothing in my week that differentiates my days, in the evenings I do whatever I feel like and don't really have a schedule, I don't watch anything on TV religiously, there's really no deadlines or dates in work, and I actually have the clock on my PC in work turned off, so I don't know its the end of the day until the alarm in Thunderbird goes off.

The only reason I know today is friday is because it's free lunch day and games night after work :D
