Cheque with no payee - what to do?

    Simple enough question really!

Recieved a cheque off each of my parents but they never put my name in the "Pay" (payee).. they just left it blank.

Now the amount is filled in and the cheque is signed, do I just write my name in? Or do I bring it back to them and get them to put my name in?

The reason I ask is just that, in my eyes, it might look odd handing in a cheque with two different sets of handwriting on it.

Probably a silly question.. but never deal with cheques. I'm a credit / debit card man! :)
