Are you sure you want to put your mobile number up?

I think Woddle is driving down - there is certainly a car full of people for the relay but not sure what time. If you drop them a PM they should be able to fill you in

I'll be going down Sunday lunch time which is possibly no good to you but happy to help if I can.

also make sure you clear it with the expo organisers. AFAIK, last year the Gardai were almost called over gate crashers.

looks like we left it too late any way. the lads in cork BHAA run this race. we are going to start linking in with them more in the future.

Good luck to any one doing it

    Seriously?
    Handbags at dawn stuff?
    Over placement of flyers?

My understanding (and it's all I heard it from a guy who was there type Chinese whispers) is that there is a fee to have a stand in the expo (naturally enough) but that one business stood at the door to city handing out flyers thus avoiding the fee but catching the same crowd as the people who had paid money to be there.

Is that any different to the people who hand out fliers for their races at the end of others though?

I guess races are a little different from businesses (it was a sports shop in this case). I know very few race organisers who make a profit from their races and almost every race organiser is in it for the love of the sport rather than the bottom line. maybe I'm naive.

I have to add that it wouldn't be polite to pass out flyers at a race without at least chatting to the organizer. :D
