question on being banned

Hi i have a query with regards bannings. if i were to set up a boards group on facebook or something, not officially endorsed or anything, but just a group which mates from boards can join, would this group be subject to boards.ie rules? if i posted abuse there about someone, can i then be banned here? thanks for responses
