Has anyone been to menorca? I don't know the island at all, but I have heard it is nice.

i was looking at getting a villa in Binibeca or cala N'Bosch. Anyone know those resorts? i am looking for somewhere fairly quiet but with a nice beach.

    cheers.

I was there many years ago! From memory it was very quiet compared to the other belarics. Driving through the countryside would remind you of Ireland on a warm day. It was very green and surprisingly full of friesian cattle . There are some nice selcluded beaches and coves if you drive around . Sorry not to be much help but maybe hte link below will give you a flavour!

I was there for a week this time last year. We stayed in Cala'n Porter and it was a bit crap tbh - not much there, there's about 100 (seriously) steps down to the beach and a few bars down there but nothing doing since it was low season. Nearest big town was Mahon and again a bit crap with only a few buses a day etc. Not sure about Binibeca or Cala'n Bosh thou. Plane ride was a nightmare too (we for me) cos it was packed with kids going NUTS!
Just back from a week in Lanzarote and it's a million times better - everything is cheap, loads of shops/bars and nice beaches. If you want a quiet spot in Lanzarote head to Playa Blanca.
