    hey gang

ive just finished college, and im ready to pack up all my things and move to Germany. I've a flight booked for next thursday 4th, and im just bringing bare essentials really, plus a laptop.

I want to bring my bicycle over with me.

not sure what the cheapest way of doing this would be

its an expensive bike, and I want it to arrive in the same condition as it leaves Ireland in.

    any ideas?

    thanks very much

    Ed

Googled this for you. My first thought was getting a bicycle box anyway so surely bike shops would have tons of these on their delivery days.

OP Are you flying with Ryanair?
They had an option for taking sports equipment as an additional luggage and it wasnt too expensive either.
Althought it may be no longer available.

    Have a look at this:

I was in Mallorca recently, big bicycle rally there, or something like that. Anyway, in the airport lots of folk had these kind of bags to carry their bikes on the planes.

Can't believe there's been 3 replies and no-one said 'Cycle it'.
