    Hey guys!

Just wondering as to which Pier(s) Aer Lingus are located at in Dublin Airport?

I'll be flying Dublin -> Barcelona next week and just curious as to which Pier I'll be headed to?

    Thanks!

Could be any - Aer Lingus have been known to use gates in the A B and D pier (not so much the stubby bit that is left of the C-pier which requires bussing to the plane).

As long as you are not flying Ryanair then it wont matter too much. All the piers are easily accessable except Ryanairs (Cheap Flight = Long Walk).

From my personal experience I have only ever used Pier B with Aer Lingus

    Whoa there Berty...

EI use the A & D gates too. Nothing to do with the price of the flight.

Could be any of the 4 boarding areas. EI have no strict plan for assigning particular routes to particular piers. It all depends on whcih aircraft gets assigned the flight and what stand it got assigned by the DAA the night before.

Be ready for the walk to Pier D and you may be surprised!

The last two EI flights I have had were from the D gates

I think quite a lot of the A pier is not usable right now , or at least it looked that way when I was climbing the stairs to an EI 320 from a D gate.

So the answer is any gate I am afraid , saying that I have never seen an EI aircraft parked against the portacabin gates that FR seem to use most of the time , which is a really long walk .

I've flown EI to Heathrow five times this year and i have been from A, B and D. All three were the same flight number, so be prepared for anything.

    Ahhhh actually.

The one I was thinking of was the one in the new terminal. You think you have arrived but have to climb down a stairs and walk another maze of corridors to get to the "back in time" Ryanair area.

The aircraft for the Barcelona flight will only be assigned the day before so its far too early to tell what stand it will be parked on.....enjoy your trip.

The new terminal hasn't opened yet.

Think Berty means the porta cabins on the end of D that used to be linked by more porta cabins to the end of A. To get to the end of the real building part of D is not actually that long, just seems that it is but if you stick to the travelators and people don't get in your way too much then it's only a couple of minutes longer than to get to anywhere else.

If you get lost trying to find the stairs at the end to get to the old D gates though then it will take a bit longer.
