Build inner chest muscle after operation

    Guys
    First time poster so go easy pls!!
    7 years ago had operation to repair sternum bone (chest sunken from birth)
    Has anybody any experience of this its just looking for some tips to build muscle towards centre of chest..finding it impossible..i start then give up after a few weeks and it really getting me down.
    Any advice appreciated

    I have the same thing, tunnel chest i think, I haven't gotten it operated on. I've found my pecs sits wider on the rib cage rather then on a normal person so while my chest has filled out a lot there just isn't really any muscle starting from where the chest sinks in so my inner chest is kinda lacking relative to the rest of it. Might just be the shape of my muscles though.

    You can't train inner or outer chest. You can only train upper or lower. Some people think that flyes or pecdec builds inner chest, this is completely untrue.

    yeah, the fibers in your pecs run horizontally, so basically the only thing you can do is add overall chest mass
