Will this DVD player take my hard drive?

I've ordered this from Amazon (mainly for the regular DVD player combined with DVB-T tuner) but it also apparently supports "windows media" and has a USB socket-anyone care to hazard a guess as to whether or not I can plug in my hard drive and play the movies on it? At present I have to use VLC Media Player as the codec…

I've ordered this from Amazon (mainly for the regular DVD player combined with DVB-T tuner) but it also apparently supports "windows media" and has a USB socket-anyone care to hazard a guess as to whether or not I can plug in my hard drive and play the movies on it? At present I have to use VLC Media Player as the codec that compressed the movies on the hard drive is not supported by media player. I know I'll find out soon enough but I'm curious....
