Anyone drive one? Interested in one but not sure what they're like on petrol. They have a 55 litre tank which is approx €63 to fill. Anyone give me some idea as to what kind of mileage I can expect from a fill? Mostly town driving. Thanks.

Had one as a loan car once and it had a serious drinking problem. I reckon it was low-mid 20's. Only drove it a day but had to put back in what I used. Was a bit of a dog to drive too.

I really wouldnt bother with one. Really is underpowered

My wife had an old short wheel base one

    Long journeys 32 mpg ish
    Mixed Driving 28 mpg ish
    Towing the boat <20 mpg

Fun to drive but very bad road holding on wet roads.

Thanks. Thinking of an '06 one (the new style). According to Honest John they're supposed to return 32.5 mpg. Trouble is I don't know how that compares to my own car. My tank takes 25 litres and I get approx 260 km out of it town driving. I don't know what that is in mpg. How do I convert it? :o

    Thats about 29 mpg

    260*.62137 to convert to miles = 161.56
    25 litres = 5.5 gallons
    161.56/5.5 = c. 29mpg

I test drove one of the older ones. At least I think I did. No, it must have been a Massey Fergusion in disguise, must have been.... it couldn't have been anything else, definitely was driving a tractor. But it looked so much like a Grand Vitara from the outside:confused:

Didn't get to drive it long enough to figure out the fuel consumption per bounce I'm afraid.
