    Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone had any views on composite front doors? Are they a composite of timber/pvc or what? What about performance? Can they be hung within arched pvc door light. And if using hardwood timber door can these be hung within a pvc doorlight or would timber doorlight need to be used? Decisions decisions.

    All coments appreciated

    thanks

They usually are called composite because they use two or more materials. i have seen aluminium external with timber internal... ive seen pvc external and internal with polyurethane fill....

The designs in these doors tend to lean more towards the modern than the traditional...

have a look at doors similar to these: http://www.internorm.co.uk/internorm.html?rdeLocaleAttr=en
this crowd do a passive certed door at 0.73 u value!
