Train in France. La Rochelle to Niort

    Hi there,

    If anyone a little more familiar with France than I am can help me I'd really appreciate it...

    I am travelling to a town near Niort but I fly into La Rochelle. Rather than hire a car I was going to get a train up to Niort which is close to my final destination.

    I came across a post online saying that there is a train and I can see it on google maps but I can't find details on train times at all!

    Does anyone know if this train exists or if it was just an old post that I read?

    Other areas which would suit to get a train to would be Bressuire, Piotiers, Niort, Cholet or Saint-Laurent-sur Sevre.
