How do I go about getting my tax back after working in New Zealand? Is there a form to fill out or a website I can take a look at? I have looked online but cant seem to find any info out.

    Contact Inland Revenue http://www.ird.govt.nz/

    Contact details here http://www.ird.govt.nz/contact-us/a-z/income-tax/

I found them very helpful over the phone, they told me all the info I needed to put in the form.

We have a tax forum you know.

It depends on your residence, whether the income was doubly taxed.

Are you back in Ireland now?

You request a summary of earnings (done through www.ird.govt.nz).
You then use an online calculator to see if you are owed any money. If you are, then you request a personal tax summary which will refund you the money. Mine usually went into my bank account.

You should get a tax rebate if you didn't work for an entire tax year and you paid tax at the higher rate.
