Persistent injuries

Until about 2 years ago I was running about 5 miles most days, playing tennis and football regularly and some gym work also. Then I had problems with my ankle. I got treatment on it but it still hurts if I go for a decent run. Also my back seems constantly stiff (office worker) which has hampered weight training and tennis. Is there any sufficient treatment for the body as a whole which would enable me to resume an active life. I spend alot of money with physio and chiros but the problems persist. Would alternative treatments be the answer as none of my injuries are serious by themselves. Any advice?
