Kids from Season 1- Where are they?

Am I imagining things, but were there kids on the plane who
ended up being taken by the others?

Did these kids ever return?
Did I miss something?

They were last seen gawking at Jack in the cage in Season 3...apparently living happily with The Others.

I presume this is going to be one of the mysteries we'll be given enough info to figure out ourselves by the end of it.

I assume they are currently in the temple. Someone asked Richard is this everyone referring to everyone else in the beach and he said there is another group in the temple.

I think they were taken because it added to the mystery of the island at the start of the show. I doubt we will find out what happened to them as the writers struggle to tie everything together over the last 16 or so episodes.

maybe jacob told the others to take the children because he knew all the sh1te the losties would go through over the next while, and didnt want them suffering!!

I assume they took the kids as they don't have many kids due to the problem with delivering babies and it helped with the island demographics.

Ya, thats what i thought too. The others couldnt have their own children so they took the ones off the oceanic crash to keep their population up.

That makes sense - I'd say they brainwashed them too. But didn't see them in the group of Others led by Richard and Un-Locke in the finale though
