Sounds good but I hope it doesn't rain otherwise it will be a bog.

It doesn't say (does it?) where the money will go to.

I presume they'll cover their costs of lighting etc first then the rest will go to First Tee Ireland (charity, i think!)

    Things to consider...
    • You will be expected to complete a 4 ball round of golf within 3 hours to 3 hours 15 minutes.
    • Consider only taking 5 clubs (No Drivers) i.e. 4 clubs and a putter.
    • Do NOT bother with honour on the tee or on the green or linning up putts. This record attempt is all about "SPEED"
    • If you are 100 yards from the green and the group ahead are still on it, LAY UP! By the time you get to your ball the green will have cleared.
    • Ensure you DONT leave bags or trollies at the front of the green. They should always be left at a point between the hole and the next teeing ground.
    • Once you have "holed out" move straight to the next tee and be ready to play the next hole.
    • The format will be 18 Holes Medal (Stroke) There must be NO N/R's on holes. Its important to keep your ball in play and move as fast as you can for the 18 holes. The best score does not come into it, ITS ALL ABOUT SPEED
