Claiming the DOLE

I'm 21 in 2 weeks and just finished final year in college. My father is retired and mother is a vice-prinicpal in a primary school. I can't find a job around town this summer so is it possible for me to claim the dole and if so, how do I go about doing it. What I.D/documents do I need etc etc. Thanks.
