    Hi,

Some of the growing number of triathletes may be interested in a charity triathlon that takes place every year at Brittas Bay (possibly one of the best tri locations in the country...) in September.

This year it is on Sept. 5th and the aim is to raise enough funds to build a school hall in the Wallacedene area of Cape Town, via the Niall Mellon Township Trust. This hall will be accessible by more than 700 schools and will be the first of its kind in the Cape Town area.

I'm not an organizer of this event, but it is a great day out and extremely family friendly (free bbq, face painting etc...).

    All the details @: www.sportingproud.org

Note: I did flag the post with the mods...:)

Was the course short last year? Swim times all seem quite short?

The sea was biblical last year, so it was swapped out for a short run...

i know september is ages away, but would anyone be interested in putting in a boards relay team to raise some money for this?

I'm a one trick pony, so i could only do the running bit, but would love to see what the whole tri thing is about.

If there was sufficient interest we could have competing Boards teams....:)
