The Moevenpick is going on Priceline.com for about €35-€45

Thanks. Can't seem to find it for anywhere near that price. Am I missing something?

Priceline.com is a site where you bid for a hotel in a certain town and a certain area of that town but you only find out what hotel you get after you've paid for it. You bid a certain sum for a certain quality of hotel and if it's good enough it's accepted, your account debited and you're given the name of the hotel. This sounds risky but then it's a 4* hotel that you're bidding on you can be sure you're getting someplace pretty good.

But as you haven't used the site before you can try this instead :

Hotwire is also like Priceline in the sense that it doesn't give you the hotel name until after you pay but you will get a price straight away. When I search for Frankfurt in July I get for example a 5* hotel on offer for €75 per night.
A quick check on BetterBidding tells me that the unnamed hotel in Hotwire is very likely the "Westin Grand" and a room there would normally cost €219

If I'm staying in a city and don't have any idea as to a good hotel I generally use sites such as Hotwire or even just Expedia and pick out a 3 or 4 star hotel based around the area I want to work/visit.
