According to breaking news on Five Live, they've just cut away from the Play Off Final to break it.

    doesn't surprise me.

the fans have turned on him, and he looks bored with the job.

    time for a change.

I'd say it could be a good bet alright, only thing that would put paid to it is if Shortt completes the takeover this week, if he throws a lash of money at transfers he'll want a bigger manager

Be good to have him back in the premiership , one of the most honest managers around in terms of analyzing his own team after games, and usually very funny to boot.

You took the words right out of my mouth!!!!

Unless by honest analysis he means any of the following:
"we gave them a right good game"
"I couldnae ask any more from the players"
"any other day we'd have won that game"
"we created plenty of chances but just couldn't score"

 Have you actually listened to Strachan over the last few years?

"We would have won the game if we scored"
"Excellent effort and if that shot was an inch to the left, we would have won"

Hopefully, he will manage the team you support so you can really see what he is like

never liked him was delighted when coventry sacked him think he has done an average job at celtic in a period were rangers have been very poor. his signings always suprise me and i think he is very poor man managment wise. I will be very suprised if he does a good job at sunderland.

Absolutely delighted. Can't stand the man. But i fear that the board will go for the cheap option in his replacement.
