once upon a time I had a lovely cycling jersey - it was black wth yellow flashes across the shoulders and down the sleeves.

I'd like to get something similar as I'm sure the original has long since passed on to cycling fashion heaven- anyone know a particularly good spot to purchase cycling jerseys? Online or LBS.

aslo, I'm not really into the really........ noticeable ........gear, something dark and understated would be my preference.

    Thanks.

I got two Nalini jerseys in the new bike shop in Stoneybatter. An aqua-sapone team one and some other one I can't pronounce. 30quid each they were. There aren't many, but it seemed like a decent price.

From memory they had a Cofidis, Francais De Jeux, Bouygues Telecom(I think) and a few others. Nothing too gaudy.

Been there, done that, but unfortunately no t-shirt to buy!!!

I thought the great gods of cycling who inhaibt this board might know of places where lesser mortals tread only on pain of pustulent saddle sores, where cycling geansies of incomparable quality and style are traded in hushed tones!!!

......and where I might get what I was after.

.....although some of those retro ones are starting to look veeeeery interesting:rolleyes:

I'm looking at buying http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/dhb_Merston_Long_Sleeve_Jersey/5360038983/ next (yes I'm cheap)

and already have http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=9344. Second one doesn't have pockets which is why I'm getting the first one.

I have a load of Wiggle short sleeve dhb jerseys that I picked up on sale for £6 or so. They are very good, at least as good as ones in the €50-60 sort of price range. Only drawback is they are short zip. www.probikekit.com is also pretty good for jerseys, got a very nice Descente one there for £10-15 (reduced from £80 or something) or so that really is substantially cooler than anything else I have.

Now is a good time to pick up long sleeve jerseys on the cheap if that is what you are after.
