Cheap projector bulbs

    Any one know the best place to buy a bulb?

    I have a sony xga vpl-ex1

    I believe it requires a lmp c150 bulb.

    Ebay has them for around 200e from hong Kong.

    Is there an alternative bulb i can use that is cheaper or any good places in ireland/uk to get a cheap c150.

    Projector mainly used for live music back drop for bands.

    That seems like a very good price. It may not be a genuine Sony lamp. I have bought two lamps from pricejapan.com and their prices and service are very good. They have a C150 lamp for €318 plus VAT:eek: here

    As their prices are generally very good, it would make me a little suspect of the ebay lamp.

    It is the bare lamp price that i was mentioning.

    The place you mentioned. Do they sell the bulb with some casing or something. As in a new casing?

    Why would i need to get the new casing?
