    Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place for this, if not please feel free to move it.

I'm looking for recommendations for a colour laser printer for the home. Don't want a monster of a thing & considering I'll be paying for the consumeables, looking for something that doesn't cost too much to run.

I've spotted this one which seems a good price - Samsung CLP315

Also this one - HP CP1215 which is similiar in price but doesn't get as good a review on cnet.

Is there anything else I should be considering (Oki/Brother/etc.) ? Is it ok to get these cartridges refilled rather than buy OEM parts ?

Why are you looking at/for a laser printer? If its for savings on your Cost Per Page, I'd recommend looking at any of the printers that take the HP 88 ink cartridges. the 88xl black can be got for in/around 40e, and will do something like 2500 pages, way better than any of the consumer level laser printers.

Going to be printing some custom DVD & BluRay covers & also want it for printing photos etc.

I have a Brother mono laser for text (getting rid) & a canon pixma 4300 which I'm currently printing photos on. I triued a coupl eof covers on the canon & they don't print that well. Tried them on the laser & they print far better
