    Does anyone have good recommendations on books etc on the GI diet and way of eating ? Or anyone have any comments - really struck me as something that made sense before and now am looking at doing it again - tks

    Collins Gem have guides to both GL (Glycemic Load) and GI (Glycemic Index), they are small, cheap and very handy books (I carry them with me everywhere). While I use the diet as I am a type 1 diabetic I did also use it to loose weight a few years ago. Hope that this helps.
