I've got a lot from this forum, so here's something back. Italy-Outlet is giving away a free Gaggia espresso machine with a bulk purchase of coffee. I bought a Gaggia superautomatic from them two years ago (Syncrony Logic) and it's been outstanding. The pump went just last week and I got fantastic service from their agent in Kenilworth Electric in Harolds Cross. I've also bought bulk coffee from them. The deal is you buy for example 32kg of beans at full retail price and they will ship you a machine as well. They will ship the beans at intervals if you wish, although you will incur shipping costs.

32kg of good coffee will cost you €512

(This coffee is great by the way)

Not to mention how long it would take you to drink it. Fine if you are a commercial business

I really like my coffee! I know 32kg is a bit daunting but they will ship the coffee in batches if you need.

I have 1 maybe 2 coffees a day. So for the minimum offer of 720 servings it would take me 480 days to write off the cost. Not sure about that.

I was thinking that maybe you could try to flog off the coffee. If you resold it for half the price or something it may be an okay deal.

    Good offer Op, well spotted.
Works out at a good price per kilo of beans also!

This may have something to do with the offer:

    :)

Gaggia are bankrupt and Philips are in the process of buying out the firm- if they can come to an arrangement with banks about the outstanding debts.........
