Love my heels but they hurt :(

I've got loads of heels but haven't worn any of them in ages because they begin to hurt the balls of my feet after about 15/30 mins of wearing them. Have tried party feet but they do nothing to raise the comfort level. Can't really put insoles into them as they are either peep toe and would just look nasty or else they are too tight.
I love my shoes and I really miss wearing them so i'm looking for suggestions on how counter the throbbing pain my beloved heels inflict on me :(:D

I sympathise with u ibbie, im a disaster with heels...to be honest iv given up on peep toed shoes cos they just destroy my toes, i have a few cute round toe pairs of shoes with a good thick heels and so i can put insoles in and am a lot more comfortable to dance the night away :)

Some people's feet just don't suit heels. I hate wearing heels cos they're always so uncomfy. The heels I do have have generally been specially picked for their comfy-ness. I find the more flexible the sole, the better they are.

i am the same... heels used to cripple me until i discovered the miracle of vaseline.

smear it on the underside of your feet and allow it to dry a little. then put your shoes on.

no more pain!!! well you at least get through the night a hell of a lot better.

im a now reformed heel wearer and i love it. it might not work for everyone, but it worked for me. shame it took me 32 years to discover it

Platform soled shoes are always a little easier on the feet, as are shoes with a thicker heel - i.e. not stiletto.

My weight varies according to when I'm training and the simple fact is that when I'm heavier, shoes hurt more.

Also, when standing, try to distibute your weight towards your heels, relieve the pressure on the balls of your feet.

I know this sounds uck but.... could you have hard skin on the balls of your feet? Visit a chiropodist and believe me it makes wearing heels alot easier!!!

Maybe you just need to break your shoes in, get your feet used to being in that shape?
Try wearing your heels at home everyday for 30 min periods, just walking around your house.

I had no problem wearing heels once upon a time.

Then, I got MBT trainers, wore a couple of pairs of them over a period of 2 years and found that wearing any height of a heel over even the tiniest amount of time would leave the balls of my feet sore and the backs of my calves screaming. So, I stopped wearing the MBT trainers, and am now in the last 6 months able to wear my heels again.

I am in no way knocking MBTs as I found them wonderful to wear but in MY OWN CASE, it was the cause of painful heel wearing. I don't if the MBTs were the problem or was it myself. Hope this helps. I was hoping to get a pair of FitFlops, but I suspect that I will have the same problem.
