Favourite Finale?

I was just wondering what people thought.. Give a list from 1-5

1. Season 3
2. Season 5
3. Season 1
4. Season 2
5. Season 4

I've enjoyed every finale and it's very close between the bottom 2 but the top 2 are my favourites .. I can't imagine 3 will be beaten either

edit: This does not have to be based just on the cliffhanger but which episode you enjoyed most!

Just to clarify, is it purely the final cliffhanger scene, or the entire final episode of each series?

It sort of doesn't matter to me, as the series 3 finale 'Through the Looking Glass' and its 'We have to go back' final scene win either way

I voted Season 1 based on cliffhanger... then read the posts! Id probably vote Season 3 for finale.

Ill go with season 2 with desmonds story, the hatch blowing up and the 4 toed foot from the statue. Was the most enjoyable episode the rest were kinda all about the cliffhangers. The season 3 ending was quite good too.

1 - I've never been more upset, frustrated and ecstatic when a show ended

3 - The flashforward reveal was mindblowing, I really did not see it coming

5 - Less about the final scene, and largely due to the major reveals that lay the foundations for the entire theory of the show.

2 - The bit with Penny just pissed me off, she was a pretty superfluous character to me at that stage and I don't think she deserved the closing spot.

4 - Meh, says a lot that I can't really remember the episode

I watched series 1 and 2 in about a month in total, so series 3 was the first real finale for me.

I've gone with series 3 finale so, thought the flash forward was very cool. Series 4 was meh, 5 pissed me off with the bomb cliffhanger but the Jacob stuff was good.

I said in another thread that the latest series finale was the worst, but I changed my mind slightly...

Season 1 - Best finale ever!
Season 3 - Didn't see the ending coming at all!
Season 2 - Hatch blowing up was brilliant
Season 5 - Liked it purely for the plot reveals and Jacob stuff
Season 4 - Can't remember it....?

Went for 3 too , Was just a fantastic episode all round with an extremely memorable closing scene

Season 3 , becuase on one saw it comming , but it was so obvious watching the repeats.

So torn between 2 and 3, but went for 3.

I know the flashforward reveal was amazing and all, but remember Charlie dying after getting in contact with Penny? "NOT PENNY'S BOAT!" is one of my favourite WTF Lost moments! Loved 2 as well, with the Penny bit too, just so many possible questions!
