Anyone come across my 3 week old black specialised sirrus sport with full length mud guards and tribars please let me know. Nicked during the day from the railing outside connelly. Really hurting as I have no insurance

On a similar not... where do these nicked nikes go? I've been watching gumtree, adverts, ebay etc and visited a few of the dodgier bike shops I know, but no sign.

I stopped 3 scumbags robbing a bike from there in broad daylight about 3 weeks ago.

Do you have a picture, or a frame number? If you dont kiss it goodbye because you cant prove its yours to the gards.

PM me your number and a description of the bike and ill keep a eye out for it.

It was probably some smelly junkie who robbed it as they are always robbing bikes from there, so id check tomorrow morning at 8am, There is a nacker/stolen goods street market on a street off parnell street(gardiner st end), then try moore street, and finally the yard opposite the ugc on parnel street.

****ing scumbags, there must be a market now with the recession, there are 3 threads in 2 days on stolen bikes.

    Thanks Kona

Don't have the number I'm afraid, but the tribar is not too comman.

Other than that it is the 08 modelwhich has gloss black paint and some suspension on the saddle.

So is this market a saturday thing or an every day thing? If ts saturday thing then I'll be there.

yes its on early in the morning, about 8am, its worth a shot.

They way it was nicked sounds like they want to flog it on quick. But honestly you need luck in getting a stolen bike back.

    Good luck:)

what people dont understand is every bike can be robbed

you'd be amazed how many people think a u lock will stop them

if they want it enough , they will have it

op im sorry its been stolen , i had a savage mongoose bike a few years back with xtr ( the best groupset ) stolen outside a pizza place , so i know how it feels

i hope you get it back but seriously doubt it

in future i wouldnt lock it at a railway station , even if its not nicked the
c unts will prob kick in your wheels

Out of curiosity, what kind of lock was it locked with?

    Or a stolen bike anyway.

The island at the Cineworld end of Parnell Street there's a yard full of bikes for sale very very cheap, many clearly fell off the back of a lorry, others just trashed.

If anyone finds their bike there, please tell the Gardaí and let us know what happened here.

I'll be passing this spot in the morning. I'll see if there is anything similar there.
