Girl asking guy out???

Hi everyone,

I would really appreciate your opinion on this one. My cat was sick a couple of weeks ago so I brought him to the vet. To cut a long story short, Im really attracted to the vet and I was wondering if it would be really weird or strange to ask him out on a date. He's roughly the same age as me, no ring on his finger (but im not sure if he's single). Now i have only met him twice and i have another appointment with the cat next week so i was thinking about asking him to go for a drink or something. Do you think I would come across as being forward and easy or just plain weird?? (Ive only met him twice!!)

What do ye think??

I don't think you'd be coming across as easy!!
Maybe you could work it into the conversation, like what he's at for the weekends or something, casual stuff, maybe suss if he's single. And/or just at the end of the appointment just ask if he might like to go for a drink sometime. If he says no thanks or whatever, just play it cool and smile and say 'no bother, thanks again' or something. (even if you feel embarassed).

I don't see an issue asking out someone you like

Even if ive only met the guy for about 10 minutes in total????? I really want to, im just afraid of rejection and embarassment. I know its not the end of the world and i'll never know unless i ask, but i suppose like everybody im just scared of taking the plunge.

Oops OP here, sorry I forgot to change my username in the last post (i think im named as unregistered). Thanks a million for the replys. Yea Im going to try and work it into the conversation. And just ask him before I leave. Nothing to lose. Awe thanks tolteq you're so sweet (princess), im terrified at the thoughts of asking.

I would say go for it. What have you to lose. And he is an animal lover. They are the best people. I think more girls should ask guys out TBH. Let us know how it goes (I know you will do it.)

OP i hope you go for it! I used to be too much of a chicken to ask someone out and it made things more complicated lol at least if you ask him and he's taken/not interested/etc no harm done, and if he says yes then its all good :cool:
